Archer is a parody of the spy genre and popular 80's television shows. They will never deny that their show parodies classics such as The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Magnum PI, Miami Vice, etc.

This garbage is purely a facsimile. Big difference.

Netflix seem to pepper their new original releases with remarkably good reviews. Case in point: Anything with Adam Sandler starts off at 4/5 stars then rapidly drops to 2 stars because people get dragged in by the rating.

It’s blatantly an archer knock off. It reminds me of Chinese knock offs: similar but noticeably off and not as good.

That said, I’ve watched 3 episodes while doing other things. I have laughed a couple times but more because the jokes are so bad. Like dad jokes.
